“We all have the innate ability to heal, our bodies want to move, and we all have the ability to transform”.

Cheryl Kinshella
MScPT, BScPsych

Cheryl Kinshella completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2008. Prior to that Cheryl completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Northern British Columbia.

Cheryl has completed additional training since her degrees and uses that knowledge to provide an integrative Physiotherapy experience. Cheryl has completed training in yoga, energy medicine, esoteric healing, shamanic studies, qi gong, neuromuscular massage, somatic practices, meditation, and free dance. She continues to study trauma, the nervous system, social justice, integrative medicine, breath awareness and mindfulness.

Cheryl treats in a holistic (whole person) manner and uses the Physiotherapy assessment to determine the diagnosis and recovery. She treats the whole person through education and collaboration. Sessions include hands on therapy, movement therapy, lifestyle and self management, removing blockages and improving flow, sleep hygiene, neuroplasticity, and mindfulness.

Cheryl understands each person has a different path to healing and individualizes each treatment plan accordingly. She schedules all appointments on an hourly basis (unless otherwise discussed) to allow the client the space and time to receive a unique and client-centered approach.
